Permit NT/P66 lies in the Bonaparte Basin, offshore Northern Territory, and is close to the Blacktip gas field.  The Sidestep-1 exploration well was drilled in August 2008 intersecting the primary target of the Intra Mount Goodwyn sands as predicted, however there were no indications of hydrocarbons.
